  • Please read the following, as signing the application page acknowledges your agreement to these rules. The 2023 fair queens are also required to abide by these rules after receiving their title.

    1. Age groups 0-12 are open to surrounding counties. Jr. Miss, Miss, and Ms./Mrs. contestants must physically reside in Page County; the use of family addresses for eligibility purposes when living outside the county will result in immediate disqualification or loss of title.

    2. With the exception of boys’ division, contestants must be female who has always been female.

    3. Contestants must be single, never married, without children, and never having been pregnant, with the exception of the Ms./Mrs. Division.

    4. Contestants must possess strong moral character, have never been convicted of a crime nor have any pending criminal charges, or have committed an act or engaged in an activity which is or could be characterized as dishonest, immoral, indecent, or in bad taste. These regulations also apply to improper images/actions on all social media outlets.

    5. If a potential contestant has been suspended or expelled from school for behavioral/action-related matters at any point in time, they are required to disclose this information in full transparency to the pageant directors via a formal conversation to determine if they meet the requirements listed in line item #4 (see above). The ability to participate will be at the discretion of the PVF Committee and PVFA Board of Directors.

    6. All contestants must enter the division corresponding with their age as of the pageant day. Winners may not win the same title/age division twice; They will be eligible to compete again once they have reached the minimum age for the next age division.

    7. Contestant line‐up will be determined by the order applications are received.

    8. The First Runner‐Up in each age division must be willing to assume all duties if the winner is unable or unwilling to fulfill her duties.

      • In the event a 2023 titleholder is suspended or expelled from school for behavioral/action-related matters during her reign or involved in illegal activity, she will be required to forfeit her title (including crown, sash, and personalized gifts) immediately.

    9. The 2023 titleholders are required to attend/participate/abide in/by the following:

      • Winners must be present at all activities during Fair week and as needed throughout the year.

      • Other events as requested by the Board of Directors, Pageant Committee, and Pageant Directors.

      • Pageant directors reserve the right to approve appearance attire.

      • All appearances in Page County must be made with the fair crown/sash . All appearances outside of the county should be made with the fair title. All exceptions must be presented to directors in advance for approval.

      • The new Miss Page Valley Fair is not permitted to compete in any other pageants between her crowning and the 2024 Miss Virginia Association of Fairs Scholarship Pageant. Details to follow.

      • The 2023 Miss Page Valley Fair will compete in the 2024 Miss Virginia Association of Fairs Scholarship Pageant, to be held the weekend of January 4th – 7th at The Williamsburg Lodge in Williamsburg, VA. The queen will work strictly with the Pageant Directors and assigned resources. Additional information about the Miss title will be discussed with the titleholder.

      • All contestants and family/guests must always conduct themselves in a proper manner throughout pageant weekend. Any display of uncooperative or unsportsmanlike conduct will result in immediate disqualification of the contestant and removal of the individuals from the property. Incidents will also be directed to the fair pageant committee/fair board with the potential of the individual(s) being banned from the scholarship pageant program as a contestant; this applies to incidents before/during/after the pageant, if related to the pageant/titleholders.

    All rules, regulations, awards, schedules, and information pertaining to the pageant are subject to change at the discretion of the Directors, the Fair Pageant Committee, and the Board of Directors, if necessary.

Registration fees 0-12 Girl/Boy $45, 13 and up $65. Extra picture $5
