 Dailey and Vincent Bio:

Grand Ole Opry Members, Five-time GRAMMY® award winners individually, three-time GRAMMY® award nominees collectively, four-time DOVE Award winners, and winners of 35 IBMA Awards altogether (including 3-time IBMA Entertainer of the Year Award winners and 3-Time Vocal Group of the Year Award winners), Jamie Dailey and Darrin Vincent (and their world-class band) bring their blend of American music; defined as bluegrass, traditional country and gospel music, across the globe and to iconic venues such as The Ryman Auditorium and Carnegie Hall. Now on Season 3 of their nationally broadcast television series, “The Dailey & Vincent Show on RFD-TV,” Dailey & Vincent bring their music to a national audience on a weekly basis. After a decade spent performing together and with over 1,000 airings of their PBS special “Dailey & Vincent ALIVE – In Concert,” their concoction of fantastically instinctive vocal blends of Dailey’s tenor and Vincent’s reedy harmonies has gained them well-deserved praise for their own distinctive style and worldwide recognition as American Music gold. Their most recent live CD, “Dailey & Vincent ALIVE,” debuted at #1 on the Billboard Bluegrass charts and remained at the top position for over 15 weeks. Dailey & Vincent’s latest release of their first-ever Christmas album, “Dailey & Vincent: The Sounds of Christmas” debuted at #1 on the Billboard Bluegrass chart and #8 on the Billboard Holiday Chart, landing right behind Michael Bublé and Pentatonix as the only country, bluegrass and gospel act in the Top Ten.

Blue Ridge Thunder Bio:

Blue Ridge Thunder is a Bluegrass Band from the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. From hard driving bluegrass standards to bluegrass gospel greats, this band is versatile and provides solid vocals and instrumentation. Blue Ridge Thunder was named by Greg Lam, a friend and musical influence to each band member. Rick, Eddie, Steve and Tim each have years of experience playing bluegrass music in the Shenandoah Valley and beyond. Together, they blend their harmony vocals, solid musicianship and stage antics to provide the listener a great bluegrass show. You won’t be disappointed.

Message from the President

Welcome to Fair # 67!

2019 marks the 67th year for the Page Valley Agricultural & Industrial Fair. Founded on a tradition of providing an exhibit venue for our local youth livestock programs, the Fair continues to support this valuable life learning education experience for our youth. The Youth livestock shows are scheduled for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings cumulating with the Livestock sale on Thursday.

The Fair kicks off with ATV/UTV drag races on Saturday, with the Horse Show and Gospel Music then on Sunday. Tuesday and Wednesday feature the Truck and Tractor pulls and we see Diesel Dirt Drag on Thursday. Friday is the Demolition Derby and Saturday is the Dailey & Vincent Concert.

Please support our Volunteer organization’s Food Stands. They are run by our local Fire and Rescue units, Ruritan Club’s, 4-H clubs and other volunteer organizations who re-invest back into our community. Be sure to also check out our youth exhibits, fruit & vegetables and craft exhibits.

Our adult season pass is a great value, especially if you attend about every night, and it saves you a potential wait in line at the gate. You can find more information in our catalog or online at www.pagevalleyfair.org .

Please patronize our Catalog ad sponsors as well as our event sponsors. We want to thank all of you for supporting the Fair and a special thanks to all the volunteers who help make it successful.

See you at the Fair!

Darrell  B Hulver
PVF Board President
